The process begins with the careful selection and folding of steel, to achieve the perfect balance of strength and flexibility.
STEP II: HEAT TREATMENT
The blade is then quenched using a traditional method, hardening the edge and revealing the iconic hamon.
STEP III: POLISHING
Finally, the blade is hand-polished with natural stones, bringing out its brilliance, sharpness, and soul.
A Fully Handmade Process, Made to Order
Nothing here is mass-produced. Every katana is forged on demand, based on your selections: blade type, curvature, tsuba design, tsuka color, custom engraving…
Once your order is confirmed, the blade goes through a meticulous process: shaping, folding, heat-treating, polishing, sharpening, and final assembly—all done by hand.
The entire forging process takes 3 to 4 weeks, because quality and tradition require time and precision.
